We decided this was a good weekend to celebrate William's first birthday. He has homemade banana cake and his grandparents came up as well as Uncle Rob, and Betsy & Nick as well. We were going to have smoked brisket, but that was slightly delayed. After it still wasn't done at 5pm (when it was started at 8am) we decided to order pizza. Guess Dave, William and I will have a great lunch tomorrow - sorry you all had to miss it!

It's fun to play in...and it doesn't taste too bad either.
Ok -I'm done... I need a baba and a bath. William had his bath at 8pm, but was on a sugar-high afterwards. He was a lot of fun to listen to and watch. Babbling, talking and playing deliriously until about 9:45pm when we finally just put him in his crib. He was exhausted and didn't fight us or cry, but he played a little and passed out after about 10 minutes.
